About the job:Queen''s Business School (QBS) at Queen''s University Belfast is currently seeking to appoint one or more exceptional candidates to the post of Lecturer in Accounting.The postholder will contribute to the design, development and delivery of Accounting modules and programmes, together with the development of teaching and learning strategies relevant to Accounting and its related disciplines.Applicants may be considered for a pathway as either a Lecturer (Practice), or Lecturer (Research and Education). Staff on the Practice pathway will engage in scholarly activity and industry engagement as appropriate to Accounting. Staff on the Research and Education pathway will pursue academic research and teaching in Accounting.About the person:Successful candidates'' application for Lecturer (Practice) should clearly demonstrate:Primary degree in relevant discipline - at 2.1/distinction level.Postgraduate degree or equivalent qualification.Appropriate and relevant professional qualification and post-qualification experience in accounting practice.Relevant teaching and assessment experience in Accounting and related fields at University level and/or for a recognised Professional Accountancy Body in an area of accounting that fits with and/or enhances the School''s portfolio.Demonstrable ability to advance the teaching and practice engagement goals of QBS.Successful candidates'' application for Lecturer (Research and Education) should clearly demonstrate:A completed PhD (or ..... full job details .....
