Lecturer - Engineering

Here at Merton College, we are seeking a Lecturer to teach FE vocational courses related to engineering, predominantly on vocational Level 1, 2 and 3 and T Level programmes within the school.The Essential required area of Engineering Teaching is:To teach Electrical/Electronic Engineering at L1, L2, L3 and T-Level.Experience of delivering some elements of BTEC Mechanical and Manufacturing EngineeringHave a working knowledge of CAD (Mechanical and Electronic)T-Level EngineeringHave Knowledge/experience of the T-Level Units, ESP and OSPL1 and L2 EngineeringWillingness to deliver units at a lower levelsA key focus of the role is to support the Head of Section in ensuring that students meet and exceed their target grades, while also providing guidance and support to members of the teaching team. You will deliver a high-quality student experience and achieve outstanding outcomes in Engineering through the development of teaching schemes, assessment schedules (including coursework and student monitoring.We are looking for someone who is educated to degree level (or holds a higher-level academic qualification) in an appropriate subject and holds professional industry qualifications and/or experience in a related industrial environment.
