Lecturer - Electrical Installation

South Thames College is seeking an experienced Electrical Installation lecturer to deliver outstanding quality in teaching, learning, assessment, and tutorial support to students, to maximise achievement and continuous improvement. You will play a key role in supporting the development of the curriculum, with employer engagement, and learner skills development. You ll create and implement innovative teaching, learning and assessment and deliver teaching and assessment activities within own area of specialism including lectures, setting/marking coursework, practical s and field work. We d like you to hold a teaching qualification (or working towards), hold an Electrical Installation qualification and have recent UK teaching experience in Electrical Installation in an FE College. With proven ability to plan and deliver high-quality, engaging lessons, you ll have experience of assessing, tracking and supporting student progress effectively with strong classroom management skills, able to motivate diverse learners. You ll have good understanding of current FE curriculum frameworks and quality standards, able to differentiate teaching to meet a wide range of learner needs. A strong communicator and excellent organisational skills, you ll be able to manage workload and meet deadlines.
