Permanent, Part Time (0.4) The Creative Industries School at Kingston College is seeking a dynamic, proactive, highly organised individual to teach fashion design, techniques and processes. You ll deliver exciting and industry relevant skills and knowledge to students on our popular practical vocational courses. As our Art and Design (Fashion and Textiles) Lecturer, you ll be familiar with relevant machines and tools and support the safe use of these in classrooms and specialist workshops. You ll also possess a broad understanding of past, current, and future design trends and be able to support students in developing their knowledge of the design cycle, garment design, specialist skills and industry understanding. We d like you to hold a teaching qualification (or willing to work towards), be recognised as a good or outstanding teacher and hold a degree or equivalent professional qualification/s in an area relevant to the job role specialism. You ll have experience of effectively monitoring and supporting learners to achieve or exceed their potential with a strong commitment to personalised learning, equality and diversity, and safeguarding.
