Leasehold Officer

Marks Consulting Partners are currently looking for a Leasehold Officer to work with one of our Local Authority clients in West Sussex.This is a temporary contract role, paying £30 per hour, offering the chance to join a busy leasehold team at a pivotal time.What you will be doing:Providing information and advice on the management of buildings, leases and the payment of service charges, working closely with colleagues across the teamHandling service charge matters, including calculations, billing and resident queriesManaging Section 20 consultations for qualifying works and long term agreementsFacilitating Right to Buy applications and supporting leaseholders through the processDelivering a full financial and administrative service covering leasehold flats, shared ownership and Right to Buy casesWhat you will need:Experience in leasehold management or housing services, ideally gained within a local authority or housing associationWorking knowledge of service charge legislation, Section 20 consultation requirements and Right to Buy processesStrong numeracy and administrative skills, with confidence managing service charge accountsClear communication skills, with the ability to explain leasehold matters to residents in plain termsAn organised, proactive approach to managing a varied caseloadIf this job is not quite right for you but you are looking for something new, please contact us for a confidential discussion.Marks Consulting Partners specialise in the recruitment of ..... full job details .....
