We''re looking for a confident and experienced Leasehold Officer to take ownership of a diverse portfolio, ensure legal compliance, and deliver excellent service to residents. This is a key role in a growing team, ideal for someone with strong leasehold knowledge and a proactive, customer-focused approach.
Key Responsibilities of a Leasehold Officer:
- Manage a portfolio of leasehold and private rented properties, including inspections, repairs, compliance checks and tenancy management.
- Set and monitor service charge budgets, lead Section 20 consultations, and manage insurance claims, repairs and sinking funds.
- Oversee the lettings process for market rent properties, including void management, inspections, and coordination with letting agents.
- Process statutory and voluntary property transactions, including Right to Buy, Right to Acquire, lease extensions, staircasing, and assignments.
What we''d love to see from you:
- Proven experience in leasehold property management and block management.
- Strong knowledge of Section 20 legislation and service charge processes.
- Experience handling Right to Buy and other property ownership transitions.
- Excellent communication, organisational and IT skills, with a commitment to delivering outstanding customer service.
