Pay Rate: -45,399 - -48,618 p.a.

Overview:
An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Leasehold and Homeownership Specialist to deliver a comprehensive, compliant, and customer-focused service to leaseholders. The role will oversee leasehold transactions, statutory consultations, income recovery, and the resolution of complex leasehold queries, ensuring residents receive an excellent standard of service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage leasehold caseload including Right to Buy, lease extensions, enfranchisement, and sub-letting applications
  
  
• Prepare and administer Section 20 consultations, Section 20B notifications, and Landlord Certificates
  
  
• Calculate and monitor service charges and major works charges, ensuring statutory compliance
  
  
• Recover arrears, agree payment plans, and escalate cases as required
  
  
• Represent the organisation at First Tier Tribunals and other legal proceedings
  
  
• Handle complex leasehold queries and complaints, providing expert advice and support
  
  
• Prepare legal/statutory documentation including Section 21 summaries, pre-assignment packs, and notices
  
  
• Maintain accurate case records and ensure data integrity across systems
  
  

• Proven experience in leasehold/homeownership services within housing or local authority sector
  
  
• In-depth knowledge of leasehold legislation, consultation processes, and enforcement procedures
  
  
• Strong service charge management skills, including major works apportionments
  
  
• Excellent communication, analytical, and negotiation skills
  
  
• IT proficient, with confidence using databases and Excel for calculations
  
  

• Experience supporting tribunals and complex legal cases
  
  
• Background in community-based or resident-led housing organisations
