This is a newly created specialist role which will play a key part in ensuring lease accounting compliance across a large and complex international portfolio while supporting the implementation of new finance systems and processes.Your new role Reporting to the Head of Financial Reporting, you will take ownership of lease accounting across a portfolio of more than 1,000 leases operating across multiple countries, currencies and asset classes. You will act as the organisation''s subject-matter expert for lease accounting, supporting both compliance and continuous improvement initiatives.Key responsibilities will include:Leading the finance workstream for the implementation and ongoing optimisation of a lease accounting system.Maintaining the lease register and ensuring new leases, modifications, renewals and terminations are recorded correctly.Monitoring monthly lease accounting journals and completing reconciliations and month-end activities.Acting as the finance business partner for operational stakeholders on lease-related accounting matters.Calc...
