Learning Support Worker (Part-Time) Location: Frome, SomersetWorking Pattern: Every Wednesday, 9:30am - 2:30pmPay: £14.25 - £16.68 per hour (dependent on skills, experience, and qualifications)Contract Type: Temporary ongoing through Prospero Teaching Prospero Teaching is currently recruiting for a dedicated and experienced Learning Support Worker to support young adults within a specialist adult learning setting in the Frome area. This is a rewarding opportunity for someone with experience supporting individuals with Specific Learning Differences (SpLD). You will play a key role in helping learners access their education, build confidence, and achieve their personal learning goals. The role also requires the completion of a brief written summary after each session, documenting the support provided and learner progress. Key Responsibilities Provide tailored one-to-one and small group support to learners with Specific Learning Differences. Help learners engage with course content and develop effective learning strategies. Promote independence, confidence, and participation within the learning environment. Adapt support approaches to meet individual learner needs. Maintain accurate records and complete concise session summaries following each support session. Work collaboratively with tutors and other professionals to ensure learners receive the support they need.
