Learning Support Practitioner

Our school is located in the Cannock, Hednesford area, easily accessible by car or public transport. They are looking for a dedicated Level 3 qualified teaching assistant to support a KS1 class.

What your day will look like

• getting the classroom ready for lessons
• helping children who need extra support to complete tasks
• helping teachers to plan learning activities and complete records
• supporting teachers in managing class behaviour
• supervising group activities
• clearing away materials and equipment after lessons
• leading reading groups
• supporting in the delivery of Phonics schemes within the school
• leading intervention groups for lower ability children

What you need to apply:

Evidence of working with children through adequate references
Passion and drive for supporting children within schools
Experience with Primary curriculum
Relevant qualifications for example: Level 3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning within schools.
