Learning Support Assistants Required - HaveringLocation: HaveringPay: Up to 17.00 per hour (Umbrella)Hours: 30+ hours per week, term time onlyWe are currently recruiting experienced Learning Support Assistants (LSAs) to work in a Further Education (FE) settings across Havering. We are looking for compassionate, resilient, and dedicated individuals who can provide high-quality support to students with a range of additional needs.We are particularly interested in candidates with experience in:General academic support within Secondary Schools or Further Education (FE).Supporting students with Autism (ASC), Dyslexia, and Dysphasia.Providing personal care, including feeding and assisting with personal hygiene.Working with young people experiencing anxiety, suicidal thoughts, psychosis, and associated challenging behaviours.Delivering one-to-one and small group support to help students access learning and achieve their potential.RequirementsPrevious experience as a Learning Support Assistant within a Secondary or Further Education setting Experience supporting young people with SEND and/or social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) needs.A calm, patient, and empathetic approach.Strong communication and behaviour management skills.An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.What We OfferUp to 17.00 per hour (Umbrella).30+ hours per week during term time.Opportunities to work in supportive secondary schools and FE colleges across Havering.Ongoing support ..... full job details .....
