Learning Support AssistantTeesside (Stockton-on-Tees and surrounding areas)Part-time and Full-time Short-term and Long-term TemporaryVeritas Education are proud to be expanding our support across the Teesside area and are now recruiting experienced Learning Support Assistants to work within mainstream secondary schools.We are keen to speak with LSAs who have experience supporting students with their learning, particularly those confident providing 1:1 support. We would also welcome applications from candidates with experience of personal care, where required, as this is beneficial for some of our placements.The role may involve:Supporting pupils on a 1:1 or small-group basisHelping students to access the curriculum and remain engaged in lessonsProviding structured, calm support to meet individual learning needsAssisting with personal care, where appropriate (experience desirable)Working closely with teaching staff and SEN teamsOpportunities available:Part-time and full-time rolesLong-term temporary placements as well as short-term / day-to-day assignmentsStart dates and booking durations vary depending on school needsWe''re ideally looking for:Experience supporting pupils in mainstream secondary settingsConfidence working 1:1 with students who require additional supportA DBS on the Update Service (preferred but we can facilitate)Reliability, adaptability and a professional approachWhy work with Veritas?A dedicated consultant who understands your strengths and ..... full job details .....
