This full-time role involves supporting students with additional educational needs, including SEND, SEMH, and EHCP requirements, within an alternative or personalised provision environment.The successful candidate will work closely with teaching staff to support students'' academic progress, emotional regulation, and social development.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide one-to-one and small group support to students across the curriculumAssist teachers in delivering differentiated learning activitiesSupport students with SEND, SEMH, and behavioural needsPromote positive behaviour, engagement, and emotional wellbeingHelp students access learning and develop independence and confidenceImplement support strategies outlined in EHCPs and individual learning plansMaintain a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environmentRecord progress and provide feedback to teaching and support staffFollow all safeguarding and child protection policiesEssential CriteriaExperience working with children or young people (education, SEND, care, or youth work settings)Experience within alternative provision or specialist education settingsRelevant qualifications (e.g. CACHE, Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant, Youth Work, Psychology)Strong ..... full job details .....
