LSA Required in Braintree – Immediate Start

£105 – £125 per day, depending on experience

Do you have experience supporting pupils with additional learning needs and a passion for helping children reach their full potential?

We are currently seeking a Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join a school in Braintree, starting ASAP.

The Role

As a Learning Support Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and other support staff to provide targeted support to pupils, helping them to access the curriculum and develop both academically and personally.

The successful LSA will:

• Provide 1:1 and small-group support to pupils where required

• Support pupils with their learning and development across the curriculum

• Assist with classroom activities and help create an inclusive learning environment

• Work closely with teachers to implement individual learning and support plans

• Encourage positive behaviour and engagement in lessons

• Support pupils with additional learning needs and adapt activities where appropriate

• Build positive and professional relationships with pupils, staff and parents/carers

The Ideal Candidate

• Previous experience working in a school or educational setting is desirable

• Experience supporting pupils with SEND is advantageous

• A patient, nurturing and encouraging approach

• Strong communication and teamwork skills

• The ability to build positive relationships with pupils

• A genuine commitment to supporting children’s education and wellbeing

• Must be available to start ASAP
