We''re recruiting Learning Support Assistants to work across Towcester and nearby areas, supporting pupils with SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities) and SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs).These roles are based in specialist schools and provisions that are set up to support pupils across a range of ages - from primary through to secondary - who need a more tailored, supportive approach to learning.What you''ll be doing:Supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis or in small groupsHelping children and young people overcome barriers to learningEncouraging positive behaviour and emotional regulationAssisting teachers in delivering engaging, accessible lessonsBuilding strong, supportive relationships with pupilsWhat we''re looking for:A calm, patient and empathetic approachResilience and a positive attitudeA genuine interest in supporting children with additional needsExperience with SEND or SEMH is helpful, but not essentialA willingness to learn and adapt in different settingsWhy apply?Flexible work - full-time and part-time opportunities availableWork across a variety of specialist settingsGain valuable experience in the education sectorOngoing support and professional developmentAll roles are booked through Tradewind Recruitment.
