We''re now recruiting for an established and experienced Learning Support Assistants, interested to support children with mild to moderate learning needs on a flexible, contract basis. As an LSA, this can be a highly rewarding and varied role in a school. Your primary goal is to support children with additional needs or mild to moderate learning difficulties to reach their full potential. These roles are ideal for support staff with prior experience supporting in a primary school with good knowledge and skills supporting SEND on a mild-moderate basis.Day to day tasks of an LSA may include: Support individual students - often those with learning difficulties, disabilities, or behavioural challenges.Assist small groups with classwork or specific learning activities.Adapt materials or explain tasks in simpler terms.Encourage independence, confidence, and participation in class.Provide emotional and social support - being a friendly, consistent adult in their school life.Help with classroom management, such as keeping students on task or managing behaviour calmly.Support physical or sensory needs - for example, helping with mobility, feeding, or communication tools (like PECS or speech devices).Record and ..... full job details .....
