Learning Support Assistant - The role Learning Support Assistant Camden, North London Primary school Long-term, full-time role ASAP start 8:30am - 4:00pm, Monday to Friday Pay: £99-£115 per day Supporting a pupil with ASD Supporting academic progress and learning Helping develop independence and life skills Learning Support Assistant - Key Responsibilities As Learning Support Assistant, you will: Provide dedicated 1:1 support to a pupil with ASD. Support the pupil with their academic learning and development. Help the pupil develop independence and confidence. Support communication, social interaction and engagement. Adapt learning activities to meet the pupil''s individual needs. Encourage positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing. Support the pupil with daily routines and transitions. Work closely with the class teacher and wider school team. Build a positive, trusting relationship with the pupil. Encourage the pupil to participate in the wider school environment.
