They are looking for a patient, resilient and confident Learning Support Assistant to join a fantastic school community and cohesive support team.This is an excellent opportunity for someone who understands that consistency, structure and positive relationships are key to helping young people regulate, engage and succeed.The RoleWorking alongside teachers, therapists and specialist SEN staff, you will provide targeted support to students with ASC, complex learning needs and challenging behaviour.Key responsibilities include:Providing 1:1 and small-group support across the school.Supporting students with Autism / ASC and challenging behaviour.Using positive behaviour strategies and de-escalation techniques.Helping students develop emotional regulation, confidence and independence.Supporting EHCP targets and individual learning plans.Building trusting, consistent relationships with students.Assisting with personal care where ..... full job details .....
