Whether you have prior experience or are looking to build your skills in a specialist role, we want YOU!The Supply Register are working in partnership with John Taylor Free School to recruit a caring and committed Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to provide 1:1 support for a Year 9 student.About the RoleYou will be supporting a student with:ScoliosisHeart diseaseDuchenne muscular dystrophyThe student uses an electric wheelchair and requires support throughout the school day, including personal care and mobility assistance.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide 1:1 classroom support, ensuring the student can access learning.Assist with personal care needs in a respectful and dignified manner.Support with manual handling and mobility, including hoist use (training required).Encourage independence and engagement in lessons.Work closely with teaching staff and the SEN team.Maintain a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment.What We''re Looking ForExperience: Experience working with young people or individuals with additional needs is desirable.Training required : Manual handling and hoist training.Communication Skills: Strong ability to work with ..... full job details .....
