What we’re looking for The successful Learning Support Assistant will have:   Excellent communication skills and the ability to adapt their communication style to meet individual learner needs.  Strong literacy and numeracy skills at  Level 2 or above .  Empathy and an understanding of a range of learning difficulties and disabilities.  Resilience, flexibility, patience and a good sense of humour.  Previous experience supporting learners with additional learning needs in a classroom setting, or significant relevant personal experience.
