About the RoleWe are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistants (LSA) to join the Additional Needs (AN) team at a further education college in Wirral. These are part-time positions starting in September 2026, supporting learners with a range of additional needs to achieve their full potential.You will play a key role in providing in-class support, promoting independence, and helping create an inclusive and supportive learning environment. Key ResponsibilitiesProvide 1:1 and small group support to students with additional learning needsAssist lecturers in delivering differentiated learning activitiesSupport students with EHCPs, SEND needs, or barriers to learningHelp students develop independence, confidence, and study skillsContribute to monitoring student progress and wellbeingMaintain accurate records in line with college proceduresAbout YouWe are looking for someone who:Has experience working with young people or adults with additional needs (desirable)Is patient, empathetic, and committed to inclusive educationHas strong communication and teamwork skillsHolds (or is willing to work towards) a relevant support or education qualification (e.g. Level 2/3 Supporting Teaching and Learning)Demonstrates a proactive and flexible approachProtocol:The Protocol ..... full job details .....
