TeacherActive are proud to be recruiting for an experienced Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to work within the secondary SEND provision of a welcoming and inclusive school in Wembley, Brent.The school is looking for a patient, enthusiastic and reliable LSA to support secondary-aged students with a range of additional learning needs, including Autism (ASD), ADHD, communication difficulties and social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) needs.This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced SEND Learning Support Assistant who enjoys working with young people and is committed to helping students achieve their full potential.The Role As a Learning Support Assistant, your responsibilities will include: Providing 1:1 and small-group support to secondary-aged students with SEND. Supporting students with Autism, ADHD, learning difficulties and additional needs. Assisting teachers with delivering differentiated learning activities. Encouraging positive behaviour, emotional regulation and student engagement. Supporting students in developing independence, confidence and social skills.
