The school operates as a Pupil Referral Unit (PRU) and is built around the ethos of unconditional positive regard, ensuring every child feels valued, supported and safe enough to learn through trust, positive relationships and a nurturing environment.The school is looking to appoint a dedicated Learning Support Assistant on either a permanent, part-time or day-to-day basis from September. The successful Learning Support Assistant will work with pupils across Key Stages 2, 3 and 4, supporting learning, encouraging positive behaviour, promoting emotional well-being and helping students overcome barriers to education both inside and outside the classroom.The successful Learning Support Assistant will have:

• Experience working with children or young people with SEMH, SEND or challenging behaviours
• A caring, patient and nurturing approach to supporting pupils
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• The ability to remain calm and resilient in challenging situations
• A proactive attitude and willingness to work as part of a supportive team
• A genuine passion for helping children and young people achieve their potential
