      <description>Location: Penarth | Salary: &amp;pound;80.00 - &amp;pound;90.00/day | Type: Temporary | TeacherActive is proud to be working with a ALN school in Cardiff, supporting with their recruitment for a ALN Learning Support Assistant / LSA. The setting is centred on pupil’s development, as well as an intrinsic desire to make progress both academically and with their own emotional, social and behavioural skills.    The school is seeking a passionate team player to take on this short-term role, although there is potential for this to become a long-term placement for the right ALN LSA. The successful ALN Learning Support Assistant / LSA will bring a new dimension and skill set to this role, be keen to develop their own skills to adapt to the children’s individual needs and have a positive impact on the wider school.  The position will involve working with students across all Key Stages with diagnosis of Autism / ASD, SLD / Severe Learning Difficulties, and challenging behaviours. A proactive thinker with the ability to take control of situations confidently is necessary.
