The college provides an inclusive learning environment where students can access the support they need to engage with their education and develop their independence.The college is looking to take on Learning Support Assistants on a temporary basis, with both part-time and full-time hours available. The successful Learning Support Assistant will provide general classroom support and 1:1 assistance, helping students to engage with learning, access activities and receive support tailored to their individual needs.The successful Learning Support Assistant will have:• Experience supporting young people with ASD and additional learning needs • Experience providing 1:1 or classroom-based learning support • A good understanding of supporting students aged 16-19 within an education setting • Strong communication skills • A patient and supportive approach • Adaptability and a willingness to support students with a range of individual needsIn return for the above you can expect to receive:• A dedicated team of consultants available 24/7 to help you ..... full job details .....
