Learning Support Assistant

The school is looking to appoint a dedicated Learning Support Assistant to provide flexible support across the school. The successful LSA will be responsible for supporting pupils with their learning, assisting the class teacher with classroom activities, helping to maintain a purposeful learning environment, providing one-to-one or small group support where required, and supporting pupils’ social, emotional and academic development.

The successful Learning Support Assistant will have:
• Experience working with children or young people, ideally within a school or education setting
• A patient, caring and supportive approach
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• The ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
• Flexibility to support across different classes and year groups
• A proactive attitude and willingness to get involved in school life
• A commitment to supporting pupils’ learning and wellbeing
