Learning Support Assistant

Job Title: LSA

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a welcoming and supportive school in the DA1 area, seeking a dedicated LSA to join their team. The school is recognised for its fantastic ethos, inclusive approach and excellent facilities, creating a positive environment where every child is encouraged to reach their full potential.

The school is looking to appoint a part-time LSA on a long-term basis from September. The successful LSA will support children with additional needs, providing personal care where required, assisting with classroom activities and helping pupils to develop their emotional and social skills while working closely with teaching staff.

The successful LSA will have:

• Experience supporting children with additional needs within an educational setting
• Experience providing personal care
• A caring and patient approach with a genuine passion for supporting children
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• The ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
• A proactive and adaptable attitude
