Pay: £92.63 per day

TeacherActive is seeking a caring, enthusiastic and reliable Learning Support Assistant to work within a welcoming mainstream primary school in Exeter. You will support pupils on a one-to-one basis, in small groups and across the classroom.

The successful LSA will:

• Support the class teacher with lessons and classroom activities
• Provide one-to-one and small-group interventions
• Help pupils remain engaged and focused
• Encourage independence, confidence and positive behaviour
• Contribute to a safe, inclusive and nurturing learning environment

The ideal candidate will:

• Have experience supporting children or young people, although this is not essential
• Be patient, empathetic and adaptable
• Demonstrate strong communication and teamwork skills
• Be committed to safeguarding and pupil wellbeing
