Hours: Full-Time, Term Time Only (8:30am – 4:00pm)

TeacherActive is working with a welcoming and supportive school in Witham that is looking to recruit a Learning Support Assistant. No previous experience is required – full training and ongoing support will be provided, making this the perfect opportunity for anyone looking to start a career in education, SEND, care, youth work, or support work.

As a Learning Support Assistant, you will work alongside experienced teachers and support staff to help pupils both in and out of the classroom. Every day is different, and you''ll play a key role in helping children develop academically, socially, and emotionally.

• Support pupils during classroom lessons and learning activities.
• Encourage positive behaviour and build students'' confidence.
• Assist children with their communication, social, and emotional development.
• Work one-to-one and with small groups to provide additional support where needed.
• Help create a safe, engaging, and inclusive learning environment.
• Work closely with teachers and other professionals to meet pupils'' individual needs.

• A caring, patient, and enthusiastic attitude.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• A willingness to learn and develop through training.
• Reliability, commitment, and a genuine passion for supporting young people.
• Experience working with children or vulnerable individuals is beneficial but not essential.
