Who are you£
- Experience working with children, ideally within an educational or SEND setting.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
- Calm, kind, and adaptable.
- A patient, empathetic, and positive approach to supporting childrenandrsquo;s needs.
- Strong understanding of how to support children in regulating their emotions.
- Experience of the KS2 curriculum
- Experience of working with children with social/communication difficulties
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide one-to-one or small group support to children with SEND, adapting learning to meet their individual needs.
- Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging and accessible lessons.
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment.
- Support childrenandrsquo;s social and emotional development, encouraging confidence and independence.
- Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs, and parents to implement personalised support plans.
- Promote positive behaviour and well-being through encouragement and structured support.
