Job Description:
- Provideandnbsp;1:1 supportandnbsp;to a pupil withandnbsp;SENDandnbsp;(Special Educational Needs and Disabilities), helping them access the curriculum and achieve their potential
- Implementandnbsp;individual learning plansandnbsp;and adapt activities to meet the childandrsquo;s specific needs
- Foster aandnbsp;safe, supportive, and inclusive environmentandnbsp;that promotesandnbsp;confidence,andnbsp;independence, andandnbsp;emotional wellbeing
- Work closely with theandnbsp;class teacher,andnbsp;SENDCo, andandnbsp;external professionalsandnbsp;to ensure consistent and effective support
- Monitor and record progress, providing regular feedback to staff and parents
- Support the childandrsquo;sandnbsp;social interaction,andnbsp;communication, andandnbsp;behavioural development
The Ideal Candidate Will:
- Have experience working with children withandnbsp;SEND, particularly in aandnbsp;1:1 setting (desirable but not essential)
- Be aandnbsp;patient,andnbsp;empathetic, andandnbsp;resilientandnbsp;individual with a genuine passion for supporting children
- Demonstrate a commitment toandnbsp;inclusive practice,andnbsp;safeguarding, andandnbsp;child-centred learning
- Possess strongandnbsp;communication,andnbsp;teamwork, andandnbsp;organisational skills
- Be enthusiastic aboutandnbsp;professional developmentandnbsp;andandnbsp;collaborative working
