Due to increased demand for classroom support, schools are seeking to appoint compassionate and motivated Learning Support Assistants to join their teams from September 2026. This full-time opportunity is ideal for individuals with experience supporting children or those looking to begin a rewarding career in education.

The Opportunity
You will support pupils across the classroom, on a 1:1 basis, and in small groups, helping them access learning and build confidence. Working closely with teachers and SENCOs, you will help promote academic progress, independence, and wellbeing.

Key Duties Include:
Providing 1:1 and small group support
Supporting pupils with additional learning needs
Assisting teachers in delivering engaging lessons
Promoting positive behaviour and classroom engagement
Encouraging confidence, independence, and progress
Working collaboratively with staff and parents

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
Experience working with children or young people
SEN experience is desirable
A patient, proactive, and caring approach
Strong communication and teamwork skills
An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
