One of our fantastic partner schools in Rochester is on the lookout for a resilient and inclusive LSA to join their team and make a real difference. Youandrsquo;ll be working 1:1 with students across Key Stages 3 and 4, supporting those with a range of SEND needs who have EHCPs in place. This is a full-time role with long-term commitment, and for the right person, it could become a permanent position!
Contract: Full time andndash; September start
Salary: andpound;95 - andpound;100 per day
What Youandrsquo;ll Be Doing (aka Your Superpowers):
- Supporting students with EHCPs (Education, Health and Care Plans) to access learning and thrive
- Using scaffolding techniques to break down learning into manageable, confidence-boosting steps
- Championing inclusive practices that celebrate every learnerandrsquo;s unique strengths
- Building strong, positive communication with students, staff, and parents
- Creating a safe, engaging, and supportive classroom environment where everyone feels seen and heard
andnbsp;What Weandrsquo;re Looking For:
- Experience working with children or young people (bonus points if itandrsquo;s in a school setting!)
- Level 2 or 3 Certificate in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools
- Training in Special Educational Needs (SEN)
- A calm, patient, and proactive approach
- A genuine passion for helping students overcome barriers to learning
- Knowledge of EHCPs and how to support them in practice
- A team player with a great sense of humour and a heart of gold
