This role would suit a teacher who values a collaborative approach and is passionate about helping pupils with additional needs thrive both in and beyond the classroom.

  • Encourage pupils to develop independence, confidence and essential life skills.

  • Promote positive behaviour, emotional wellbeing and meaningful participation in learning.

The Ideal Candidate
  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.

  • Has experience teaching pupils with special educational needs.

  • Understands the needs of learners with autism, MLD and/or SLD.

  • Is confident differentiating lessons and adapting teaching to individual needs.

  • Has strong communication, organisational and classroom management skills.

  • Works effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.

  • Is patient, resilient and passionate about helping every pupil succeed.
