Join Our SEN Team in Hemel! Learning Support Assistant with SEN School Experience Needed

Position Details:

• Location: Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire
• Start Date: September 2025
• Salary: From andpound;13 per hour
• Contract Type: Full-Time or Part-Time available

Your Role Will Involve:

• Providing 1:1 and small group support to pupils with a range of complex needs including autism (ASC), speech and language difficulties, ADHD, SEMH, and other learning challenges.
• Assisting pupils in accessing bespoke curriculums tailored to their individual EHCPs.
• Collaborating closely with SENCOs, teachers, and therapists to deliver effective, student-centred support.
• Creating a nurturing, inclusive learning environment that supports emotional and academic development.

£ Essential Requirements:

• Experience working in an SEN school setting is essential andndash; please do not apply if you do not meet this requirement.
• Patience, empathy, and a strong understanding of supporting students with additional needs.
• Confidence in managing challenging behaviours using de-escalation and positive behaviour support strategies.
• A proactive and flexible approach to working in a specialised educational environment.
