Position Details:
- Location: Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire
- Start Date: September 2025
- Salary: From andpound;13 per hour
- Contract Type: Full-Time or Part-Time available
Your Role Will Involve:
- Providing 1:1 and small group support to pupils with a range of complex needs including autism (ASC), speech and language difficulties, ADHD, SEMH, and other learning challenges.
- Assisting pupils in accessing bespoke curriculums tailored to their individual EHCPs.
- Collaborating closely with SENCOs, teachers, and therapists to deliver effective, student-centred support.
- Creating a nurturing, inclusive learning environment that supports emotional and academic development.
£ Essential Requirements:
- Experience working in an SEN school setting is essential andndash; please do not apply if you do not meet this requirement.
- Patience, empathy, and a strong understanding of supporting students with additional needs.
- Confidence in managing challenging behaviours using de-escalation and positive behaviour support strategies.
- A proactive and flexible approach to working in a specialised educational environment.
