Learning Support Assistant andndash; SEN School Experience Required | Rickmansworth

Position Details:

• Location: Rickmansworth, Hertfordshire
• Start Date: September 2025
• Salary: From andpound;13 per hour
• Contract Type: Full-Time or Part-Time available

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils with a range of complex needs, including autism (ASC), speech and language difficulties, ADHD, SEMH, and other learning challenges.
• Assist pupils in accessing personalised curriculums aligned with their EHCPs.
• Work collaboratively with SENCOs, teachers, and therapists to deliver effective, student-centred support.
• Create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment that supports both emotional and academic growth.

Essential Requirements:

• Previous experience working in an SEN school setting is essential andndash; applicants without this experience will not be considered.
• Strong understanding of the needs of students with additional learning requirements, with patience and empathy.
• Ability to manage challenging behaviours using de-escalation and positive behaviour strategies.
• Proactive and adaptable approach to working within specialist educational environments.
