Contract Type: Full-time or Part-time andndash; Term Time Only
Salary: andpound;90 andndash; andpound;120 per day (depending on experience)

About the Role:
A welcoming school in Winslow is seeking a Learning Support Assistant with a specialism in Speech and Language support. You will work closely with pupils who have communication difficulties, helping them to develop language skills and access learning across the curriculum.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support pupils with speech, language, and communication needs (SLCN).
• Deliver targeted interventions designed by Speech and Language Therapists.
• Encourage use of strategies such as visuals, repetition, and Makaton.
• Assist teachers in adapting classroom communication.
• Track and record pupilsandrsquo; progress in speech and language development.

Requirements:

• Experience supporting children with speech and language needs.
• Knowledge of strategies such as Makaton, Colourful Semantics, or ELKLAN training (desirable).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patient, supportive, and creative approach.
• Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply.
