      <description>Location: Selly Oak | Salary: &amp;pound;95.00 - &amp;pound;110/day | Type: Temporary | TeacherActive is proud to be working with a SEND school based in South Birmingham, supporting children and young people with a range of additional learning needs, including ASD, MLD and SLD. The school is committed to providing a supportive and inclusive learning environment where every pupil is encouraged to develop their confidence, independence and individual abilities.  The school is looking to appoint a dedicated Learning Support Assistant on a full-time, long-term basis, starting as soon as possible. The successful Learning Support Assistant will support pupils both on a one-to-one and small group basis, assisting with classroom activities, managing individual learning needs and providing personal care where required.  The successful Learning Support Assistant will have:    A relevant Teaching Assistant or Learning Support qualification is desirable    Experience supporting children or young people with SEND, particularly ASD, MLD or SLD    Experience supporting pupils with additional learning and communication needs    A willingness to assist with personal care where required    A patient, nurturing and understanding approach to supporting vulnerable pupils    A positive, fl...</description>
