Learning Support Assistant SEN

Reeson Education is seeking a committed and compassionate Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in the St Helens. This full-time, long-term Teaching Assistant role is to begin in September and offers an excellent opportunity to make a lasting impact supporting a pupil on a 1:1 basis.The school is looking for a nurturing Teaching Assistant who can build strong, supportive relationships with children and contribute positively to the wider school community.About the Teaching Assistant Role:The Teaching Assistant will provide 1:1 support to a pupil in Year 3.The Teaching Assistant will work closely with the class teacher and SENDCO to deliver tailored strategies.This Teaching Assistant role requires patience, creativity, and a flexible, child-led approach.The Ideal Teaching Assistant Will:Have experience working with pupils with SEND, particularly ASD or MLD.Be confident supporting emotional and behavioural needs in a classroom setting.Be a Teaching Assistant who can remain calm, consistent, and encouraging.Be a team player who communicates effectively with staff and families.Teaching Assistant Requirements:Valid Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willing to apply).Two professional references covering the last two years.Right to work in the UK.Previous experience in a Teaching Assistant role, ideally with SEND experience.Reeson Education:Reeson Education is England''s Premier Recruitment Agency.
