Learning Support Assistant (SEN) Southwark, South London £100 - £120 per day (dependent on experience) Full-Time Term Time Only Start Date: ASAP About the Role We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join a welcoming SEN school in Southwark. This rewarding opportunity involves supporting young learners with a range of special educational needs, helping them to access learning, build confidence, and achieve their full potential in a nurturing and inclusive environment. The successful candidate will work closely with teachers, therapists, and support staff to provide tailored support to pupils with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC), Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD), Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD), Speech and Language needs, and other additional learning needs. Key Responsibilities Provide one-to-one and small group support for pupils with SEN. Assist students in accessing the curriculum and participating in classroom activities. Support pupils'' social, emotional, and academic development. Encourage positive behaviour and help create a safe and engaging learning environment. Follow individual education plans (IEPs) and behaviour support strategies. Work collaboratively with teaching staff, therapists, and parents. Monitor and report on student progress and wellbeing.
