Learning Support Assistant/Teaching Assistant Barking and Dagenham Key Stage 1/KS1 SANZA Teaching Agency are working with a large, vibrant 4- form entry primary school in Barking and Dagenham. They are seeking learning support assistants/teaching assistants to join their school from September 2026! The Role:As a learning support assistant/teaching assistant, you will work in collaboration with class teachers and the SEND team to provide quality, high- impact support for students across Key Stage 1/KS1. You will help children access learning through tailored support, and guide them through developing healthy and positive relationships with their peers. You will support students with additional learning needs, including those with SEND and English as an Additional Language (EAL). As a learning support assistant/teaching assistant applying for this position, you:Have previous experience as a learning support assistant/teaching assistantWill be excellent communicator with strong interpersonal skillsWill enjoy working as a part of a large teamWill be patient and understand that all children learn at different pacesHave a solid understanding of learning and speech and language delaysWill understand that all children have strengths and be committed to helping children discover their unique skillsWill be confident in leading small group interventions and delivering structured curriculum sessionsWill be be familiar with strategies used to support learning for children with autism or ..... full job details .....
