Hays Education are recruiting a Learning Support Assistant to join a specialist educational setting supporting pupils with a range of additional needs. Your new role

• Providing tailored support to pupils throughout the school day
• Encouraging engagement with learning activities both in and out of the classroom
• Supporting communication, social development, and emotional wellbeing
• Adapting your approach to meet individual learning needs
• Assisting with personal care where required
• Working closely with teachers and wider support staff to promote positive outcomes

What you''ll need to succeed

• Experience supporting children or young people is desirable
• A calm, patient, and proactive approach
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• A genuine interest in special educational needs and inclusive education
• A willingness to learn and develop within a specialist setting
