Learning Support Assistant - Croydon A welcoming and inclusive primary school in Croydon is seeking an enthusiastic and committed Learning Support Assistant to join its supportive team from September 2026. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate Learning Support Assistant with experience supporting children with special educational needs to make a genuine difference to the academic, personal and social development of pupils within an Enhanced Learning Provision. The successful candidate will primarily support a small group of pupils within an ELP class, all of whom have EHCPs and moderate learning difficulties. The role will focus on helping pupils access learning, develop independence and make meaningful progress both academically and personally. The Role - Learning Support Assistant The successful Learning Support Assistant will: Provide day-to-day classroom support to pupils within an Enhanced Learning Provision. Support a small group of pupils with special educational needs and EHCPs. Follow the guidance and direction of the class teacher. Support pupils in accessing the curriculum and completing learning activities. Provide feedback to the class teacher regarding pupil progress, achievements and next steps. Maintain appropriate records relating to individual pupil targets. Provide pastoral and emotional support to pupils throughout the school day.
