The Position - Learning Support Assistant
A welcoming primary school in Southwark is seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join their team from September. You will be supporting pupils with a range of Special Educational Needs (SEN), both on a 1:1 basis and in small groups, helping them access learning and develop confidence both inside and outside the classroom.The successful candidate will work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to deliver targeted interventions, adapt learning activities to meet individual needs, and encourage pupils'' academic, social, and emotional development. You will need to be patient, proactive, and able to build positive relationships with pupils, ensuring they feel supported throughout the school day.There will be a trial during the first week back in September, giving you the opportunity to meet the staff and experience the school before starting the role.
