Location: Milton Keynes
Salary: -100130 per day, depending on experience
Contract: Full-time, Term Time Only
Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:30am-4:00pm
Start Date: ASAP

We are currently looking for a dedicated and compassionate Learning Support Assistant , supporting secondary-aged students.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about education and supporting young people who may require additional guidance, encouragement and support to reach their full potential.

As a Learning Support Assistant, you will work closely with teaching staff to support students both academically and pastorally. You will help create a positive, safe and supportive learning environment where every student has the opportunity to succeed.

We are looking for someone who is:

• Experienced in working with children or young people, ideally within an educational or SEND/PRU setting
• Patient, supportive and approachable
• Confident managing challenging behaviour in a calm and positive manner
• Able to build strong, trusting relationships with students
• Reliable, enthusiastic and committed to supporting young people
• Able to work effectively as part of a team

Previous experience within a PRU, SEND, SEMH or secondary school environment would be highly desirable, but we will consider candidates with relevant transferable experience.

• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service OR willingness to apply for an Enhanced DBS
• Relevant experience working with children or young people
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of students

• Competitive daily rate of -100130, depending on experience
• Full-time hours, Monday-Friday
• Term-time-only working
