Learning Support AssistantPRU - Secondary Students Location: Milton KeynesSalary: 100- 130 per day, depending on experienceContract: Full-time, Term Time OnlyHours: Monday-Friday, 8:30am-4:00pmStart Date: ASAPWe are currently looking for a dedicated and compassionate Learning Support Assistant , supporting secondary-aged students.This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about education and supporting young people who may require additional guidance, encouragement and support to reach their full potential.The RoleAs a Learning Support Assistant, you will work closely with teaching staff to support students both academically and pastorally. You will help create a positive, safe and supportive learning environment where every student has the opportunity to succeed.The Ideal CandidateWe are looking for someone who is:Experienced in working with children or young people, ideally within an educational or SEND/PRU settingPatient, supportive and approachableConfident managing challenging behaviour in a calm and positive mannerAble to build strong, trusting relationships with studentsReliable, enthusiastic and committed to supporting young peopleAble to work effectively as part of a teamPrevious experience within a PRU, SEND, SEMH or secondary school environment would be highly desirable, but we will consider candidates with relevant transferable experience.RequirementsEnhanced DBS on the Update Service OR willingness to apply for an Enhanced DBSRelevant ..... full job details .....
