Learning Support Assistant

Teaching Assistant Prospero Teaching is looking for Teaching Assistants to work in schools across Sandbach. Acting as a work-finding service, we provide supply cover to a range of Primary, Secondary and SEND Schools; from small village schools to large secondary schools. We are looking for Teaching Assistants to support students from Early Years all the way up to Key Stage 5. Strong behaviour management skills are essential. Prospero Teaching work with both experienced Teaching Assistants and those first embarking on their career in education by helping you find your next position. Some contracts may be extended from day-to-day bookings to longer term cover. Location - Various locations across Sandbach Position - Teaching Assistant Type of work - Support students either by supervising a small group of students in activities, working 1:1, 1:2 or 1:3 with students, aid the Teacher in the classroom. Start date - September 2026 Duration / Likely Duration - Day to day bookings, with the potential for extension depending on schools End date (if applicable) - N/A Contract type - Temporary Full time/part time - Part time and full time depending on schools needs Minimum rate of pay - Minimum rate £90 per day - Rate negotiable dependent on experience and qualifications Hours - 8:30 am - 3pm (full day), half day (am or pm), individual lesson cover.
