Learning Support AssistantProspero Teaching is looking for Teaching Assistants to work in schools across Wigan.Acting as a work-finding service, we provide supply cover to a range of Primary, Secondary and SEND Schools; from small village schools to large secondary schools. We are looking for Teaching Assistants to support students from Early Years all the way up to Key Stage 5. Strong behaviour management skills are essential.Prospero Teaching work with both experienced Teaching Assistants and those first embarking on their career in education by helping you find your next position. Some contracts may be extended from day-to-day bookings to longer term cover.Location - Various locations across WiganPosition - Learning Support AssistantType of work - Support students either by supervising a small group of students in activities, working 1:1, 1:2 or 1:3 with students, aid the Teacher in the classroom.Start date - September 2026Duration / Likely Duration - Day to day bookings, with the potential for extension depending on schoolsEnd date (if applicable) - N/AContract type - TemporaryFull time/part time - Part time and full time depending on schools needsMinimum rate of pay - Minimum rate 90 per day - Rate negotiable dependent on experience and qualificationsHours - 8:30 am - 3pm (full day), half day (am or pm), individual lesson cover.
