Learning Support Assistant - Hackney, East London

Prospero Teaching is recruiting Learning Support Assistants for a highly regarded secondary school in Hackney. This is a fantastic opportunity for graduates or experienced support staff looking to gain valuable experience supporting students with SEN and additional learning needs.

• Location: Hackney, East London
• Start: September 2026
• Contract: Full-time, ongoing
• Hours: 8:00am - 4:00pm

• Provide 1:1 and small-group support
• Support students with Autism, ADHD, Dyslexia, and other SEN
• Work closely with teachers to improve engagement and progress
• Promote positive behaviour and wellbeing

• Degree preferred
• Experience working with children or young people desirable
• Passion for education and supporting student development
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Supportive and inclusive environment

• Strong leadership and pastoral support
• Valuable experience in a successful secondary school setting

• Right to Work in the UK
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
• Two professional references
