Learning Support Assistant

Location: Milton KeynesStart Date: SeptemberContract Type: Long-term contractsPK Education are looking for an experienced and resilient 1:1 Learning Support Assistants (LSAs) to support a learners with ASD and SEMH needs.This role will initially focus on building trust, developing a positive relationship and helping the learners feel safe and comfortable within an educational environment. The successful candidate will understand that relationship-building and emotional regulation are key.The potential opportunities are based in Milton Keynes, working with KS4, KS5 and post 16 students and ideally due to commence from September.The ideal candidate:- Experience supporting children or young people with ASD and/or SEMH needs.- Confident managing challenging behaviour and situations.- Skilled in de-escalation and positive behaviour strategies.- Calm, patient, consistent and resilient.- Able to build strong relationships and establish trust.Why choose PK Education?
